My Poor Neglected Blog!

Yes, I admit it!  I have neglected my blog.  Here is the latest news.  I have been painting with oils and loving it.  I just finished a 6 week course with Jim Glover and I am starting a 10 DVD course with Daniel Edmondson on landscape painting.  I can paint today for a bit but I really need to stop painting and get ready for our vacation on the  Norwegian Spirit to the Western Caribbean.  We have waited for four years to take a vacation and we are leaving on Sunday.


I took this painting to class light night and got some really good suggestions to finish it.  The lower right needs to be darkened.  The other fixes are easy and It will be done.  I have already started on my landscape course so that is a work in progress.

Lovin, Oil

This oil was so fun!  I am working on composition, color and values.  This is a study that I found online.  When I find where I found it, I will give credit where credit is due.  Now I need a snack and I think veggies and balsamic vinegar sounds wonderful.
