Christmas 2010

The view from my front window is awe inspiring. I can look down the lane and watch it snow. Sometimes deer wander by. It's almost Christmas. Christmas is my favorite/not favorite time of the year. If Christmas is in my heart, the holiday is wonderful. When I slip and fall (metaphore for bad attitude), I can make the holiday miserable. Not everyone that I love is coming for Christmas but the ones who are supposed to be here are coming and the ones who are supposed to be with other loved ones are with them.

It is snowing outside and warm inside. I love to sit by my window and feel the silence. I have a "list" of things to do today but it will wait while I am settling in to nature. I look around me and I am surrounded by my art and others art. My recent appreciation of my own creativity is such a gift!

The cookies are all baked and the house smells wonderful and welcoming. This is my sacred place and I am so grateful for it. Happy Birthday Jesus.
