My Day-An Afternoon with the bank and all I got was this Stress Relief Orange.

What a day!  This morning I painted and had such a good time!  This afternoon, Jim and I went to a community meeting for Affordable Mortgages.  Reps from our bank were there and reps from Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac.  The wait wasn't terrible this time.and while we were waiting we were interviewed by Channel 8 here in Las Vegas.  After reviewing all of our documents that we have been submitting over the past 16 months, our rep told us that we would have a decision by Wednesday on our loan modification.  That's three working days after waiting for 16 months.  When we got home we got a call from our mortgage processor and she said it would take at least a month dispite what the rep said at the meeting.  So.....we still don't know how close we are from getting any mortgage relief but,......I now have a bright orange stress ball to get me through!  Oh, by the way, Jim and I were on the 5 oclock news..We are stars!

Oy. As if my hair isn't already falling out fast enough. I'd probably have that orange ball embedded under my finger nails! Keep the faith though!

Norena, Can't get my response out on artbuddies so will post it here:

Congratulations, Norena! Even in the mess they call our economy, you have found hope. We are still living in our motorhome but have dreams to one day be able to have a small property where we can garden and raise our veggies and flowers...and more room for me to do my art. God Bless you and your DH. I am so happy for you. Ohio is so beautiful, may peace be with you there.
